Our story

Why a vet started FurDoc

FurDoc comes from the team behind PetMedic in Kuala Lumpur. PetMedic was started in 2020 by Dr Lee Wai Wai. She's a veterinarian, she has worked with pets for more than 20 years, and she teaches pet first aid.

We wanted two things. A label you can read in one look, so every sachet lists six named ingredients with the amount of each. And a daily habit that is easy to keep, so it's a powder you stir into food, with the amount for your dog's weight printed on the box.

How much for my dog's size?

Give half a sachet a day to a dog under 7 kg, 1 sachet to a dog of 7 to under 15 kg, 2 sachets to a dog of 15 to under 25 kg, and 3 sachets to a dog of 25 kg or more. Tear open a sachet and stir it into your dog's wet or dry food.

How long does a box last for a big dog?

For a dog of 25 kg or more (3 sachets a day), one box of 15 sachets lasts 5 days. Smaller dogs need less: one box lasts about 7 days at 15 to under 25 kg, 15 days at 7 to under 15 kg, and about 30 days under 7 kg.

Will my dog eat it, and can I mix it with kibble?

We can't promise that. Every dog has favourite foods and foods he ignores. Start by stirring it into a food your dog already loves, and give it at the same mealtime each day. If he still won't eat it after a few tries, message us. Stir it into your dog's wet or dry food, kibble included.

How long does delivery take, and what does it cost?
